Congrats on your solo...
I too had a very large CFI (195) he said...ha, ha..
the day he turned me loose on the sky i was scared you know whatless :->
I couldnt belive the performance difference with the big lug out of the right seat, plus the interior of the 152 looked like a 747, ......all that room !
Take off was good, according to me, pattern just right, not to far from airport, just in case!..midfield downwind noticed radio chatter was gone, tried to call tower (class D airspace) no answer..Oh Oh!
Last transmoission from tower that i heard was cleared to land so i did just that.
I taxied back to my instructor and he looked puzzled, shut dow and told him no radio.
he got his hand held out and called the tower and got us back to the FBO.
He said I done Good! Come back tomorow and do it again. It took me twice to do a first solo just like you.
good luck in you training
