AeroPlanner.com USER ADVISORY
On October 1, 2006, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency is:
- Removing public access through the World Wide Web to non-US aeronautical data in the Digital Aeronautical
Flight Information File (DAFIF)
- Ending public sale of all DoD Flight Information Publications (FLIP) for non-US airspace
AeroPlanner.com uses the DAFIF as the primary source for non-US aeronautical data and therefore will not be able to
provide accurate and current aeronautical data for nay non-US airspace.
AeroPlanner.com will continue to provide accurate and current aeronautical data for all US airspace.
Aeronautical data for US controlled airspace outside the continental US such as the Pacific Territories or the US
virgin Islands will continue to be available on AeroPlanner.
VFR navigational charts (TPC, ONC, and GNC) for non-US airspace will continue to be available on AeroPlanner.
Many descriptions and instructions in AeroPlanner.com will need to be updated and changed because of the loss of the DAFIF
data, so please be patient when noting any inconsistencies between AeroPlanner.com data and written descriptions.
If removal of non-US aeronautical data reduces or eliminates the need for you AeroPlanner.com subscription, contact us at
info@aeroplanner.com for a pro-rated refund.
