AEROPLANNER USER ADVISORY
On October 1, 2006, AeroPlanner lost its source of aeronautical data outside of the United States.
- Non-US data had previously been supplied by the US Department of Defense (DoD).
- The DoD has ended access to aeronautical data in non-US airspace.
- We do not expect foreign data to be available in the future on this site.
AeroPlanner will continue to provide accurate and current aeronautical data for all US airspace.
Aeronautical data for US controlled airspace outside the continental US such as the Pacific Territories or the US
Virgin Islands will continue to be available on AeroPlanner.
VFR navigational charts (TPC, ONC, and GNC) for non-US airspace will continue to be available on AeroPlanner.
Many descriptions and instructions in AeroPlanner will need to be updated and changed because of the loss of the DAFIF
data, so please be patient when noting any inconsistencies between AeroPlanner data and written descriptions.
If removal of non-US aeronautical data reduces or eliminates the need for your AeroPlanner subscription, contact us at
info@aeroplanner.com for a pro-rated refund.
