Images in the General Data tab:
- The planning chart, (second image) links to the Basic Flight Planner for trip planning, with the selected airport as the departure airport.
- The VFR chart, (third image) links to SmartChart, centering on the selected airport. SmartChart is an interactive presentation of the best
available VFR chart. Clicking anywhere on the chart presents aeronautical information for that location.
- The road map, (fourth image) links to GoogleTM Maps or MicrosoftTM Live Local to help locate the airport in relation to highways and roads.
|
- The aerial view (fifth image) links to GoogleTM Maps or MicrosoftTM Live Local to help identify the airport and surrounding features.
Procedure names in the Terminal Procedures tab link to PDF images of the airport's terminal
instrument procedures.
Geographic coordinates in any tab link to SmallChart, a smaller, but still interactive, view of
the best available VFR chart of the coordinate location. A link to the larger SmartChart is at the bottom of the SmallChart page.
Other links display pop-up windows containing diagrams or detailed information or connect to other websites such as FBO or commercial travel planning websites.
